Johannah was the daughter of Denis Carroll (abt. 1834-1884) and Elizabeth Hannah Ween (1840-1932). At the age of 28 Johannah married 34 year old Alfred Single Rains (1868-1951) on 28 August 1902 at the home of Samuel Grey at East Adelaide.8A.L.
